Our Arden Corten steel cube planters with feet, often called “square corten steel planters”, are an excellent and unique way to add a stunning and minimalist look to both commercial landscape designs and domestic gardens. These cubes are squared off and feature a corten steel finish, making them a modern-looking piece that stands out, while remaining subtle enough that it won’t overpower the rest of your backdrop.

This particular model comes with feet to provide extra stability, elevating it 90mm above the ground to give it a stylish and contemporary finish. Our Arden Corten steel cube planters – handmade in the UK – come complete with a double-folded return top lip, meaning there’s no need to worry about snagging the metal edges whilst planting.
Our steel cubes are precisely cut using laser technology to ensure that each item is accurately replicated. We then use specialised machinery to fold the sheet steel, and our skilled fabricators complete the fabrication by hand.

What is it made of?
Our Corten cube planter with feet is made from 100% genuine and certified Corten steel, also known as weathering steel or COR-TEN steel. The metal’s name COR refers to its corrosion resistance property, while TEN represents its tensile strength. We manufacture our planter using 2mm thick steel of structural grade as standard.
Corten steel is a premium metal that develops a unique and distinct patina as it ages, creating a protective barrier that slows down the oxidisation process, elongating the material’s lifespan. The oxidised patina creates the most stunning autumnal shades of orange, red, and brown. The shades and colours of the patina depend on the climate and weather where the product is located, making each planter unique.
This material is widely used in landscaping and construction, with some notable structures such as The Angel of the North, John Deere World Headquarters.
Our planters are available in Rustic Patina Steel and Corten steel, with custom sizes produced in up to 6mm steel depending on the intended use.
